Hey all
Not many of you know me, and I don't know many of you.
But in this day and age, good news are always worth sharing with someone.
So let me take you on a little story.

I live in Sisimiut, Greenland. I am here studying to become an engineer. It's quite awesome.
Along with 2 classmates, we have a pack of dogs.
As in, 10 dogs.
10 Greenlandic sleddogs. These dogs are not cuddly-wuddly laying on the couch and chilling. They straight up prefer to be buried under a blanket of snow in a storm in 5 degrees fahrenheit.
So we keep our 10 dogs chained up, in a remote part of town. This part of town is called "The dog town", because it's designated to dogs.
There they spend their days and nights, growling at eachother and other dogpacks.
Back in February one of the chains broke. This is quite common, since normal chains have a worse chance at surviving the freezing temperatures, than dogs do.
So one of our dogs, Munin, escaped. It's not uncomming, they usually come back. However, after 3 weeks of not seeing him at all, we slowly lost faith.
After 1½ month, we had to face the music, and declare him dead.
However, today, 3 months since he first disappeared, a dog with a striking resemblance to our missing Munin, came waddling up to me, and wanted to be patted.
Normal greenlandic sled dogs, don't want that. But since these are "molded" by me and my two classmates, our dogs are more soft than normal ones.
It's Munin! He is back! I have no idea how he have survived for so long, but he is not starved or otherwise deprived, he seems happy and cheerful.

I've added an old picture taken of him before he disappeared, and one when he came waddling up to me today.

I hope you have a great day, dear reader and fellow eGO member.
