DODS problems

My grandpa got DODS, but whenever he gets it running it crashes. Itll get to the part with the U.S soldier and the German soldier standing there then it chrashes. My uncle thinks its the Anti Virus software he has thats blockin the game or somthing. I think its a graphics problem, because the same thing happened to me when i played tf2 it would get the the area with the medic, heavy, spy and demo then it would crash. Only differnce between my problem and his is that mine had an error screen(i got it fixed so dont worry bout that). So i dont really know, it would be great if sombody knew, wouldnt want him to spend the 10$ for nothing

What are his system specs? If he's using an integrated onboard graphics chip then that might be the problem

agreed with turtle. i also have this exact same with tf2 becuase of my graphics card not supporting directx 8.0 i think minimum for dods is 7.0.
