its so much more fun if you get achievements while actually playing the game (even if you are specifically trying for one)...the amount of joy I just experienced when I killed someone who was actually coming after me with a taunt is beyond words and I would urge all of you to at least try getting them the "real" way before destroying all of the challenge and excitement in a "lets do achievements" mindset.

Or maybe I should just shut up because im the only one who feels this way lol

nope.. not just you... I got four in the first game I played after the update.... I was pretty surprised each time... and when an enemy pyro and I killed each other at the exact moment and got the achievement for killing after death together.... I was laughing pretty hard... good times.

I would, but since everyone is doing it, I think that
1) Since everyone is being Pyro, I'm just ruining the game even more for people who want to enjoy it
2) I'm to lazy.

I am firmly opposed to farming, if I am to get them achievements I'll do it the hard way.

I however know lots of people who will farm them and I wont think any less of them for that, however I'll let them know how I feel about it if they ask.

I compare this to people checking online cheat codes for a game they just bought for shortcuts.

If curiosity is more powerful than the sense of accomplishment, then so be it.

It's a free world.

I farmed a few and will get the rest through playing. I don't like the farming process either but I hate it when I am trying to play a map and 1/2 the team is farming the achievements. At least with farming you don't really affect everyone else's game experience. I guess I am complex....farm for selfish reasons and farm to be thoughtful for other players....wow that's deep.

This is why I only have the first medic weapon unlocked, despite the fact that I play medic 90% of the time. Some of the scenerios set up are so absurd that they HAVE to be farmed, and if I wanted to grind through farming acheivments, I would be playing WoW. I'll take 'em as they come, and not before then!

I occasionally finding servers that aren't listed as farming but are....and just fudging the entire thing i.e. capping points, intel etc... It's usually quite amusing and it gets my bad behavior out on servers other than =eGO= which is very good.

Not really farming, I just like getting the weapons before the novelty has worn off.

IE. I'd rather be the 1st person in-game to get all pyro weapons, even though I farmed them. Rather than being the [Insert high number here]th person to get them in the game, but honestly.

To be quite truthful, I did almost all of the achievements before they came out (excluding the weird ones) so it doesn't matter as much to me if this time a little box comes up. Been there, done that.

I got a taunt kill on a player unknowingly walking around a corner. It was pure luck. I had no clue he was coming. I hid and started the taunt and just as the fireball appeared an enemy walked right into it. Then I died because of someone following my unsuspecting victim.
