WARNING. DO NOT TELL ANYONE OF THESE METHODS. IF VALVE GETS WIND, THEY WILL TAKE OUT THESE METHODS.
With no help!
1) Create a server from the menu. Achievement Box b3 is the best for this.
2) Open console, and type in sv_cheats 1
3) Type in console mp_teams_unbalance_limit 0
4) Type in console bot -team blu
5) repeat step 4 20-30 times. Copy and paste if you have to
6) type in console sv_cheats 0
7) type in retry
This step will take you out of the server, but reconnect. Doing all these steps should lead to 20 blue team bots.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Combined Fire: Self explanatory. Set em up, knock em out with your axe.
Fire Wall: Impossible
Cooking the Books: Impossible
Spontaneous Combustion: Impossible
Trailblazer: Impossible
Campfire: Also self explanatory, just light them up
Lumber Jack/Clear Cutter: Easy
Fire watch: Impossible
Burn ward: Impossible
Makin Bacon: Just aim for all the heavies
Plan B: This is where it gets hard.
1) First, use the compressed air to knock all of the enemies right infront of the locker.
2) Stand behind them, and knock them up the ramp
3) Push them again into the water above them
4) Kill them
Pyrotechnics: Impossible
Arsonist: Impossible
Controlled Burn: Using the compressed air, knock enemies onto the control point, and then light them up
Freezer Burn: For some reason, impossible
Hot on your heels: Easy.
Next of Kindling: Easy
Second Degree Burn: Impossible
Weenie Roast: Easy.
Baptism by fire:
1) First, use the compressed air to knock all of the enemies right infront of the locker.
2) Stand behind them, and knock them up the ramp
3) Set them on fire
4) Push them again into the water above them
5) Done!
Fire and Forget:
1) Set bots on fire.
2) In console, type in command explode. This should kill you
3) While you're respawning, pray some of them die
4) Repeat
I Fry: Impossible
OMGWTFBBQ: Easy. And fun!
Got a light: Impossible
BarbeQueQ: Dominate any bot, then type in the command kickbot[bot # here]
Dance Dance Immolation: Impossible
Fire fighter/fire chief: easy
Attention getter: easy
Pyromancer: Not easy, but simple!


Now, there are 3 additional achievements that you can earn through this, but with a different command. In the very first set of instructions, type in bot_mimic 1 between steps 5 and 6, but only after you have finished those above

This command makes bots mimic your exact move.

For these two achievements, remake a server. Instead of typing in bot -team blu, type in bot -team blu -class soldier


Hot Potato: Stand next to one locker, and have the soldier face you. Fire your flamethrower, and he will fire one rocket. Reflect it back 100 times
Pilot Light: Stand next to the soldier. Aim at your feet, jump and shoot. Quickly look up, and light him on fire.
Hotshot: Same as hot potato, but hit him with the crit.

Same as above, except it should be bot -team blu -class pyro

Dead Heat: Stand in front of him, and fire at him. It should work after a few tries.

Oh, and you can use this method to get the medic achievements as well. Be creative!
 
I got all my weapons in 45 min with my roomate. Just did a network connection and both finished em.

If you aren't lucky enough to live with someone to do that, find an empty server where you and a friend can go to. Might take a little longer because we used the pyro achievement map. But still completely do-able.

you have to go to your options. On the page for keyboard config there is a button at the bottom that says "advanced." From there you can enable the console.
 
Thanks for this info - it's nothing I wouldn't have achieved playing normally, but I totally wanted that flare gun ASAP so I could practice aiming.

Though, admittedly, I probably won't be playing pyro for a couple weeks, or at least until the fervor dies down. Or the fun of owning opposite team's pyros gets old.
 
Just a small note about these:

The Spontaneous combustion achievement is soloable by adding a bot, mimicking him up to the blue team locker, and pressing right click to activate his cloak. You can then use the flare gun to shoot him then wait for the locker to insta heal/extinguish and repeat until its complete.

You can also do the same basic steps for soloing Firewatch, move the sniper to the locker, right click to put him in his zoom, then shoot. Don't aim too high though, otherwise you'll head shot yourself. Feel free to add these in for future reference before this method gets blocked by valve.

man, now all my stats are messed up, stupid achievements! :(
 
Actually, burning the papers is possible to get with bots, I got it.

You need to maneveur the bot (bot_mimic) to the intel, and burn them, it was easy actually.

An easy way to get Fire and Forget is to take out your shotty, and run up to an enemy scout bot (again with bot_mimic). Fire the shotty right above his head, and then burn him, the scout should kill you while he has about 10 hp left, and he'll die while you are dead.
 
Yeah, but the ones that I have are all you need for the three weapons, and I doubt you're going to shoot for all achievements if you're just farming them :P
 
This is an exploit. Shame, shame.

The whole point of requiring bots to have sv_cheats and for sv_cheats do disable achievements is so that you cannot farm achievements like this.
If Valve wanted to allow bots in multiplayer, you would not have to enable sv_cheats, and it would not disable achievements.

I have submitted a Steam feedback ticket to this effect.

Why don't you want Valve to hear of this??
Is it because you admit that it is an exploit that SHOULD be fixed??
Or do you think that Valve is wrong to patch this??

Re anders' comment, if you are farming with a friend,
you are not exploiting the source engine, but are merely being cheap.
 
I know that it should be fixed, but I don't mind to abuse an exploit that if I didn't use, I would just go do it with a friend.

Same end, and its not as if the means harm or affect anyone.
 
Then why don't you want Valve to know?
If it is supposedly not an exploit, then why the secrecy?
If it is an exploit, then why are you using it?

Though eGO's rules don't apply in personal servers, the no exploiting rule has merit.
 
I don't want Valve to know because I'm a lazy bastard, and that if they did, then my method would be gone.

I do know its an exploit, I just don't mind taking advantage of it. Everyone has their own morality code, and mine don't include using an exploit that doesn't affect anyone other than myself. If it was an exploit that glitched other people without their consent, or somehow ruined others experience, then I wouldn't use it.

One could make the argument that since I gain the weapons, I would ruin the game for others by not having to work hard and making a mockery of the people who worked hard for their weapons, but then that would include those who went onto farming servers, which is something you recommended.

Other than that, I can't see any reason to not do it other than personal moral code, which varies person to person.
 
That and its a game. Discussing morality of my actions in a game doesn't really accomplish anything, as I'm likely to use this method despite how you try to persuade me otherwise.

Arguing with people online hardly ever yields any change of opinion, which means that you are most likely arguing for the sake of arguing, or would just like to point out my flaws to any reader.
