Radeon 4000 Series

Well, the ATI Radeon 4850s came out! Up next are the 4870s and the 4870x2s! The specs on the 4850s are awesome! take a look:

Core clock - 625MHz
Stream Processors - 480 Stream Processing Units
Memory Size - 512MB
Price - $200

If the 4850s are this good, I can imagine what the 4870s or even the 4870x2s are gonna be like!!! These specs are about the same as Nvidia's GTX 280s at nearly a fraction of the price. These cards are gonna be insane!

You're off a bit. There are 800 shaders, not Stream Processors. Newegg is off for some reason.

Iirc, there are 480 stream processors

Hmmm... that is weird. and im with you Badger, the 4870x2s are gonna be pretty sweet, but hope they arent that expensive :X

the 3870x2 is the equivalent to the 9800 GTX i believe
