What application are you reporting this issue on?
fivem

What server is this happening on?
fivem

Short description of the bug.
stock says 0 but can buy

Description of the bug.
when I go to a convenient store some things say they have zero stock but I can still purchase it

What should be happening instead?
should be unable to purchase the item with 0 stock

Describe how to replicate the bug.
go to a convenient store and find something that has zero stock then buy it

Extra info?

I think you all realized in chat that this is indeed the result of it being an NPC store. However, to provide less confusion, maybe NPC stores should always have 999 stock?

This isn't a bug and is a store that isn't player owned.

I don't think the config allows us to set a non-player owned store stock to 999. The way the script works is the stock is unlimited for all stores until a player purchases it and then the actual config for the stock count comes into play.

K. Realized after I posted this because someone told me.

Could the stores be set to NOT show the amount in stock at all unless you are the owner? As it stands, either way, whether your at a player store or local store, both will show (0) so it can cause confusion when one ACTUALLY IS out of stock and one isn't. If it was possible to remove the number entirely, it could potentially help with that confusion.

The reasoning for the showing of the amount that the shop has, is for when the store is player-owned, there is no other way of displaying how much is left / if there is any at all. So this being the only way to display this, taking it away would eliminate this opportunity to see what is available, I don't think this is something we are intending to change as of the current moment.
