Delivered Streamlined introduction flow for new GTA 5 members

There is a significant problem I feel in the process of how new people join the server.

If someone is browsing the fivem server list and finds our server, and goes to EdgeGamers.com, they will be immediately lost

Sure, its just two clicks away to get to the relevant section, but its well proven that every single step someone needs to take will lose people.

Even just clicking Forums -> Grand Theft Auto is enough to lose people,

What I'm suggesting is that we make a proper, non forum post website that guides people through the process, directly explains to them what they need to do to apply, where to find rules, and other introductory stuff without the need of playing hide and seek on the forum for the relevant information.

This is something i feel is VERY important to the growth of the server, as is if you want to invite someone to the server you basically have to give them a step by step guide on wtf to do. We need this explained somewhere in a non overwhelming manner that doesn't immediately throw people at a forum post. Forums can be instantly overwhelming to people who do have experience with them, and while they work great in the context of... a lot of things, people who don't have experience with them will give up easily if they are just thrown in and told "find what you need to do to get into the server glhf"

possibly this website could be on gta.edgegamers.com as the page that appears there, im not sure if this is possible due to the way FiveM probably is and would probably require running a webserver on the box that hosts the actual server but regardless of where it'd be hosted, something to make the process manageable to your friendly neighbourhood non forum experienced individual is desperately needed if we actually want to get more members. They shouldn't need to be helped through the entire person step by step by someone because of the messy structure of it all


Edit: realistically a forum post would work fine for linking the neccasary steps, but maybe having gta.edgegamers.com redirect to ir for example would be helpful. We just need SOMETHING explaining what to do for a complete newbie to the server

We need basically a flashy landing page, some screenshots of some in server stuff as backdrop, some links to things like rules, application and discord.

The process should be simple and streamlined. While forums are normal for long term communities, a lot of people walking into this stuff are more experienced with basic websites and buttons, not forums.

This was one of the main reasons we wanted to switch to a different environment other than the forums which lead us to discord.

We currently have both methods of applying open to users, for people who are used to the forums, but they also have the option to apply on discord.
