Need BFG 9800GX2. Selling BFG 8800GTS

Hey guys, I'm going to SLI another BFG 9800GX2, and I need another BFG brand seeing that it is much smoother if you buy from the same manufacturer. Im looking to pay around 400, considering the new GTX200's are now out and depreciation has taken hold of the 98GX2's.

I'm selling a perfectly fine, babied BFG 8800GTS 320MB OC. Easily runs all steam apps on high settings and I have had this card for little less than a year. If you want more info, contact me via PM, or just post on here so everyone can see it and maybe get some of their own questions answered.

I will provide pics and specs including temps, ect. on the card if asked. Thanks guys

Sorry to say, that anyone with a 9800 GX2 Probably has no plan on selling it so soon, your best to buy it new off of newegg, maybe wait for a deal...
 
I entirely disagree. The new ATI and the new GTX200 series released last week and are much faster and better than the 9800GX2 in every category. They are just $670 bucks. Not to mention I bought my current 9800GX2 for 375, and there are several on eBay for 375-450 but I'm not into the whole bidding thing, I like the buy it now and there aren't any listed.

Hardcore players are getting rid of the former king of all kings for GPU's to get the new successor. Thus, selling them :)
 
I know what you mean, but What I'm saying is, Not very many people are gunna pay $500 for a Video card, and then only a few weeks later sell it off for $400 and pay $700 for a new card, I really don't see the point in that, and I don't think many members of this website buy a new card every 2 months...
 
Meh, the release was in February for the 98GX2. So you're right, it hasn't been too long. But what better place to look than the #1 and the biggest Online Clan in the world :p
 
Don't make anything official yet, But When I get payed, I might take another look at that card... Could be able to buy it possibly

Haha, guys it's a standard PCI-E, just like any modern card today, nothing secret about it.

Well not exactly. The 9800GX2 still holds it place scoring better than the GTX280 and the 4870 in almost all cases, but if you compare power/price/performance, then clearly the 4870 is the winner here. I'm actually glad that Ati could come with a strong line of cards, this will certainly brighten up their future. I wish I could buy a 4870 but I'm happy with the performance my 8800gt is giving me. :P

Don't worry Pci-Ex x16 2.0 is compatible with previous versions. You might need to update the motherboard Bios or download a video card Bios update from the manufacturers website but it all works and 2.0 only offer theoretical performance at this time anyway.
