FiveM GTA FiveM Search Vs Frisking

The basic idea of this suggestion is to add a new frisk option for police instead of only having the search ability.

Basically, the Police would have 2 options, one frisk option, which only allows them to find weapons or other very large items (Bricks of drugs, pickaxes, etc..), and the other being their search option that shows everything in the inventory.

Additionally, I think it should alert the person being searched/frisked that they are being searched/frisked, and who is doing it.

By doing this, is limits the ability of cops to say they are "frisking someone" and then find a bunch of drugs, or something. And if they do fully search someone when its not warranted, the individual can know about this and possibly bring it to the DOJ.

There are multiple reasons for this, but the main reason for alerting them is it doesnt make sense for someone to be searched and not know about it. If someone is feeling your pockets, and patting you down, your gonna know about it.

For the Frisk option, it allows more roleplay, while also limiting the power of cops, which is something that likely should happen.

Hey 3dsam1 . Thanks for making this suggestion.

I'd like to start off by saying, this is a great idea! We used to display a notification saying you were being searched. We should definitely look towards getting that back in place.

I'm going to bring this to the rest of the team on our meeting that's coming up. I'd love to explore this opportunity!
