Difference between Macbook Pros

Hey Guys,

I'm looking at getting a new laptop for school that will transition into my work laptop. The budget doesn't matter as I will be able claim it on my income taxes for self employment the following year. I'm an apple guy from the watch to the phone and air pods. so sticking with apple but having a hard time seeing what would be better. Comparing the MacBook Pro 13 inch the M1 Chip with 16 gbs of memory or the Intel I-7 10th gen 2.3ghz with again 16 gbs of memory.

i know nothing about tech, but ive heard people who know about tech talk about how the M1 chip is insane
