Helping my best friend build a new desktop

Hey all, so apparently Newegg has been putting a few ssd's on sale as of lately. My question is should I wait until Black Friday to have my friend go after parts or should we wait until possibly next year on this? This new desktop definitely isn't going to be a rushed project at all as its just a way to get him into making music on the side he used to around 20 years ago (yes I know that's a good stretch of time in terms of technology & im going to help him understand the difference in terms of the speed boost now). Overall just trying to get an idea of if I should keep my eyes out or if we should just wait for possible big deals during the Black Friday weekend (ill be off, but not sure about him).

I'd say you can try and get some on black friday, but of course they will sell out fast. Maybe get a couple parts before and see if you can grab some during the sales.
