Genshin Impact is a beautiful and action-filled MMORPG created by Chinese company Mihoyo! It started off as a mobile game but reached the platforms of ps4 and PC very quickly. The game is rather new but has years of content planned out (which was announced by creators). With almost 50 million players monthly, this game could have great potential for eGO has a whole! Please consider it!

Game is large, dedicated player base, the only question I have is how events could be run. Any thoughts Katsabriii Katsabriii ?

events in a game like this cannot be particularly hosted or run. it holds a max four-player limit and a majority of events are based within the game itself. large scale events would be considered impossible however it does not mean that there cannot be events. the events themselves would have to be based on a community aspect, playing other games or group events. they may be themed along with genshin impact, but ultimately events could not be hosted in the game itself.
 
I haven't played the game so I'm not sure how well it would work but as far as supporting games as long as there are leaders willing and able to help with this I will always be down.
 
I am willing to support this fully. I believe that Genshin has the entertainment and popularity to be successful.

I was discussing this with Kyle and we were thinking of doing speed trials on bosses! With the 4 player cap per world, teams could easily be assembled and we could have people race to defeat bosses. There are ways to verify whatever may be happening in these battles through discord but fine details will be worked out.

Another spin on those speedruns could be choosing certain characters to be locked. This would be similar to how Buster runs pugs (certain characters cannot be chosen).

While events cannot necessarily be held in game, Genshin has a lot of giveaway opportunities as well!
 
Look i played a lot of Genshin Impact since the start, almost 3-4 months and stop played for playing others game, make my way out to MR 54-55 or so and know how the game works, if the game gets supported what are you plans on it, a discord server like OW i can guess, what about to maintain the game supported like events or so?

I think having Genshin Impact as a supported game would be a great idea as it have a big base of player and would make eGO get to be more known by other persons/base of persons,i just want to know what are your plans on it.

It's going to be a yes from me and i hope you have success on it.

We do plan on making a discord, similar to how the Overwatch server is built. We would like to do events, and we have a few ideas, but those details still need worked out. Giveaways was an original idea we had for events but otherwise we imagine the server to mainly be an ego supported hang out and gaming spot for Genshin players everywhere :) We hope to have co-op channels and roles to help members find others to play with.
 
I think it is good to branch out into games that may be more experimental and different than what we are used to. There was one point where Overwatch was considered a weird thing to expand into and was "doomed to fail" but look at it now. I was in a rush when I made my last comment, but I am fully in support of this expansion because while I have not played it personally (yet), what I have seen from the OW members that do play it, they have a lot of fun and are very passionate about doing this. I think they have a lot of creative ideas to bring to the table too!
 
I just recently re-installed Genshin and started playing again.

I would step in and help where / if needed to see this opportunity through. I actually enjoy just chillin' in VC & playing Genshin. Interested to see where this goes, looking forward to seeing plans & development (possibly)
