A long time ago back when dinosaurs ruled the earth, I joined eGO under the TF2 division. When I joined, we had Divisional Leaders, I'm not sure what the equivalent to that is.. Maybe Senior Managers? Anyways, our 2 Fort server was always populated, to the point you had to wait in a line to join. I obtained my eG one night from DL ScrappyDoo, which I do not think is with is any longer.

To the point, I've been working on my creating and editing skills as far as gameplay content goes and tonight, I noticed we did not have a whole lot of people in 2Fort. I quickly remembered why I joined eGO, why I enjoy TF2, and specifically, that server strikes near my heart, or whatever is in place of my heart. In turn, I decided to make a video showcasing our servers talents.

Please enjoy.

**Something I did not notice until the footage was recorded was the information panel in the bottom right. Since I already recorded it and did not like the way it looked when I added a crop effect, I decided to leave it in place.**

If you record a demo file and then play it while recording with your external software, you can turn the HUD off entirely :)

Simon Simon I tried that, but I couldn’t get the player names to stay in place. The idea behind this was to gain cooperation from the people inside the server and to create excitement. It’s easy to excite someone when you tell them they’ll be in your video.

When I had the demo in, I turned on sv cheats and disabled the hud, but do you know how to get the player names to stick?

A bit off topic, hope it doesn't do any // I was never able to play TF2, i dunno why nor want to. I just know this is the first ''Borderlands'' ahaha, and I think mostly the shooting mechanics were off and the maps which are way too big, extremely big and your character is a innocent ananas. ( Small )and then the characters which send me some ''chest pressure' vibes.

Awesome video; 2Fort was my home for a significant portion of my time with EGO and I will never forget all the fun times it brought me.

Also, hi Ric! You're the person who helped me join EGO way back in 2013. Thank you for that :)

Ric Ric , come join us anytime. join our Steamgroup and TF2 Callout and we can get folks in to join ya. It generally doesn't take much to get the server popping.

It's been quite some time since I've done it... i think you can do a more minimal HUD at the very least, that may help you. I'll have to fire it up and try it one day and get back to you.

2fort will forever be my home. Spent so much time on our many 2fort servers over the years. Maybe if it's becoming popular again within eGO I'll have to try and come by...
