Seconded on Tinder. One of best relationships I had was through there. I like to think meeting people in person first is better but the reality is that the times have changed.
That said, be prepared to wade through a lot of bad fish before finding even a single keeper... especially people looking for more than a hookup. And especially, too, if you're a man. The entire scene favors women heavily, just like IRL. But if you want to put yourself out there then dating apps are a good tool to find some pretty people.

I had good connections and bad connections, it really depends on the person and how you feel about dating online, for someone like me it makes opening up to someone much easier and I tend to feel safer getting to know them and when to cut ties if red flags start showing, I have made many new friends through dating/friendship apps, and have met a few new partners from online dating.
