With the addition of hunting and fishing, the Department of Justice has introduced a new section to our law book: Hunting Violations

3-2007 (Operating a Boat without License Issued) and 3-2008 (Operating Aircraft without License Issued) have also been added.

Finally, to address the increase of violence at our public safety facilities, a new law enhancement has been added:

3-250 (Committing an Act of Violence on Public Safety Grounds)

Any individual who: Commits any act of violence such as but not limited to: Homicide, Assault, Kidnapping, or Robbery; on the grounds of a Public Safety facility such as but not limited to; Medical Facilities, Police Stations, Jails/Prisons, or Judicial Buildings, is guilty of Committing an Act of Violence on Public Safety Grounds.

Violators of this law will be charged twice the amount of time and fine of the original charge. This means if a person commits an armed robbery at Pillbox Medical, instead of just being $2,000 and 35 Months, the person can be charged up to $4,000 and 70 Months.
