Short description of the bug.
not allowing me to join

Description of the bug.
When i join the server it uses my steam name and now my eGO name, as well as my rank is gone and 5 seconds after loading into the server i get kicked out with the message "client authorization failed"

What should be happening instead?
I should be able to join without any problems as the server is not full.

Describe how to replicate the bug.

I think this is a client-side issue. Have you tried googling for help?

9/10 times this is clientside.
This can happen for a variety of reasons, likely something acting in the way of Steam and the game's authorization handshake.
Software like antivirus and some firewalls may interfere.
File corruption can also cause this, notoriously in TF2 it's more a files thing than a network thing.
SourceMod CAN cause this sometimes, with some mismatch stuff and corruption, but we'd be hearing of more cases if it was an SM thing.

Common diagnosis is verifying game cache
checking for network blockages (also testing on a different net if you can.)
reboot
reinstallation (With a clean wipe).

This isn't likely a bug on our end but on your end. I would suggest opening a ticket in discord to get more direct help.

I would recommend verifying your integrity of game files.

How to do this:

Go to your steam library.

Right Click on Counter-Strike.

Click Properties.

Once you click properties a new window will appear.

Click local files.

At the bottom of this page you will see a button saying "Verify integrity of game files...", click on this.

Follow the prompts it gives you, this takes only a couple minutes and fixes almost any issue you have.
