Headset problems..

All right, my little brother tripped over my headset plug and killed the right side. And i'm trying to pick between these two:

Any suggestions?

your choice man. Headsets, few and far between, are usually about the same. Comfort is about the only difference i've ever noticed with them. print the two model names out, stick them 2 a dart board and start launching. see which one gets hit first.

both seem solid but i don't see a reason to spend 100 bucks on a headset honestly. I used to own a 30$ pair of altec lansing headphones (behind the head) that were amazing. my only problem with them is that they fell apart after a year or so. again, your choice in the end.

exactly what badger said, headsets are pretty much the same, and i personally would go with a cheaper pair only because i know that headsets (for me) dont last that long...

your decision and its how you feel about it

id go with the Tritton AX 51 cuz its cheaper and IMO it looks more comfortable

Thanks for the link but I found two problems with that, it's USB and virtual 7.1..

look icemats, razer baracudas, and the saitek cyborg headsets are the best

But it's not. The true 5.1 is better and faster than USB Virtual

Everyone will be completely biased with what they like. Tylantt i'm sure you already had your mind made up when you saw both of those headsets. You like tritton, good for you man. I really hope you're happy with whatever pair of cans you pick out. It's one of the worst feelings ever when you buy something and suddenly feel like you've been given something of poor quality.

Chief, have you used icemats or baracudas? not to knock your knowledge in any way shape or form man but i'm curious if you're just going off reviews or if you're backing yours from personal experience. I know for a fact that someone in clan has a pair of cyborg headphones and loves them to death. I'm tempted to give them a shot myself once the pair of plantronics i'm using now goes down the tubes.

For what it's worth, a lot of the differences in headsets now a days are rarely noticed by most people. I listen to music all the time and i find that some of my favorite sets of headphones/headsets/earphones have been some aftermarket cheapies that i found at bestbuy or elsewhere.
