Hello everyone, I suggest that the warden and guards should able to close the cell doors once they have opened and ordered prisoners to leave them. Currently, CTs are unallowed to close cell doors. The main idea of this is to allow prisoners that are hiding or otherwise still in the cells to still have a chance at rebelling.
I do not understand this reasoning. Not only is closing the cell doors a common sense solution to maintain control over prisoners, it heavily punishes prisoners that hide in cells if the warden remembers to close the cells. "Warden, you can't close the cells because then I can't rebel" is an absolutely ridiculous statement. The prisoner is rebelling if they don't leave the cell when ordered to. It is still completely possible to rebel without staying in a cell.
Not only does it make more logical sense, it allows for maps to better fine tune their balance. Some maps have lights above the cells indicating if a prisoner is in the cell, some maps have secrets in cells, and many maps simply don't support closing the cells. This is all part of map balance and learning a map. Lastly, if the warden only closes the cells without checking them, it is entirely possible that the prisoners that remain in the cell could survive to the point where the warden must offer them a pardon before offering bloodhound st/lr.
Please let me know what you guys think about this rule and suggestion. Thanks!
