Well I did post my next build on the old site but that was lost in the transfer so I think ill repost my new puter that I want to build. Not sure when ill have money for it though :mad: Coast of this mother: $1,737.92

The graphics cards will probably change once newer ones come out, so these parts are just the gist of it.
By the way, this list changes a lot, so it may not stay the same.

i would have bought all custom parts for my pc but i got no clue how to put them together (im only 15) so i just built it custom on dell :P (yes i know their motherboards suck, etc etc) but for the stuff i was getting at the price it was worth it
 
I would get a Corsair PSU instead. And i would bump the CPu to Q9450 or just get the E8500.

yea they make them and they are super reliable and also have i forgot what its called where you only need to put the cables in that you use.


I would go with the asus. the tuniq seems to be very massive and inconvenient from what I'm reading about it.
 
I kinda want the Asus one but its not compatible with Intel Core2 Quad =\ Oh well, there are TONS more out there. I'll find one. :) Some review say they have quads with it, but its not meant for them.
 
I kinda want a Corsair power supply now but the biggest one they have is a 1000w which is a bit pricy, and the next one down is a 750w. And I was wondering If a 750w would be able to run all my stuff. I may get the 4870x2s when they come out and they are gonna be power hogs so I think the 750w might not cut it. What do you think? But I think im going with the 1000w.

i would go with the 1000W just because then you will be set for some time on power, and its modular which will be GREAT for cable management, cause for those cables you dont need... they dont have to be in the case.
 
Oh just wait Noobkiller. Depending on what the 4870x2s are like, I may get 2 of those and that will bumb her up ;) It will be that if not more. :)
 
YAY!! so how many of those are you getting? lol and are you going RAID0?
 
I think I'm going to start off with just 1, then get another one down the road. So I'll probably just have them as 2 independent drives then.
