5v5 Winter Tournament

The 5v5 Winter Tournament will be held on December 11th , 2021
10am PST / 12pm CST / 1pm EST

IT IS FINALLY BACK!?!?! THIS 5V5 EVENT WILL SHOW WHO THE GREATEST PLAYERS ARE IN ALL OF EGO!!!

How it will work this time is instead of the admins choosing their teams the Counter-Strike Leadership Team will be choosing the teams. On the day of the matches, the teams will be seeded into positions based on their skill and rank. Every team will play best of 1, while the grand final will be best of 3. There will be a losers bracket so if you lose, don't be discouraged you can always win your way back into the tournament.

Requirements for signing up

-Must hold at least a rank for recruit in the community and be active (=(e)= users and above)
-Must be in good standing with the community (No bans within the last 30 days)
-All players must be MAUL registered and verified. NO EXCEPTIONS.
-You must have a challengermode account as this is where the tournament will be held

These people will be subbed in for any team if needed, but can't play for multiple teams.

Tournament Rules​

• All players wishing to be picked must fill out the form to sign up.​
• If for whatever reason the server malfunctions or there is an error, the round will be replayed.​
• Teams must be in Teamspeak for the duration of their their match, and cannot be in contact with any person(s) not part of their team/a member of EC during their match.​
• The use of any hacks, cheats, scripts, exploits, model breaking, or any kind of third party software, as listed in the eGO competition rules, to give you an advantage over another player (e.g. AHK) will result in disqualification from the tournament for both members of the team. The offending player will also be banned from all EdgeGamers servers.​
• Any use of map exploits and or map bugs are not allowed.​
• Leadership has final say.​
• Teams must check in 20 minutes before start time.​

Prizes
First Place Team: $150 + Royal DS
Second Place Team: $75 + Platinum DS
Third Place Team: Normal DS


The deadline to sign up is November 29th, 2021! Make sure to get your applications in before hand.
This post will be edited at least 2 days before with each roster for the event. Keep and eye out and support your friends the day of the event!​
