I think it woud be cool if u coud buy diffrent character skins as one of the gang perks. I know that gang colors for special days exist, but i feel like this woud be more generaly useful
and people coud clearly see who is thogether and who isnt. I dont know if this woud be possible due to the very limited ammount u can code and make in Counter Strike Global offensive.

i was trying to find the different thread where this was suggested and rejected, but i couldn't, resume, its not the fact that is difficult, but the fact CSGO(valve) would get mad plus add targeting a person with their skin, not gonna happen, sorry

oh okay np just thought i woud suggest it

I'm not sure how changing character skins would work plugin-wise, but I'm fairly sure it would get treated similarly to !ws by valve. They do not like these plugins very much

Code:
[Csgo_servers] Request to Server Operators

CS:GO community servers provide valuable experiences to players and
communities, and are serving more players than ever before. Over the past
month, 3.1 mln unique players were observed playing on community servers and
this number keeps growing each month.

We're aware that some server operators are offering to their players false
inventories and/or profiles as a free or paid service via mods on their
servers. These mods inaccurately report the contents of a players' inventory
and/or matchmaking status, devaluing both and potentially creating a confusing
experience for players.

Therefore, we are asking server operators to remove any mods and plugins that
falsify the contents of a players' profile or inventory.

To be clear, the services that should not be offered on a community server
include (but are not limited to):

- Allowing players to claim temporary ownership of CS:GO items that are not in
their inventory (Weapon skins, knives, etc.).
- Providing a falsified competitive skill group and/or profile rank status or
scoreboard coin (e.g., Operation Challenge Coins).
- Interfering with systems that allow players to correctly access their own
CS:GO inventories, items, or profile.

If your server provides any of the above services then we request that you
disable them. If for some reason you are unable or unsure of whether a
particular plugin should be removed, feel free to contact us.

We will continue to monitor the players experience on community servers, and
may reevaluate if further actions need to be taken to ensure that server
operators comply with the request above.

Thanks,
The CS:GO Team

Ah okay i didnt know that

A type of credit shop for all players would be a really cool feature IMO however it would cause loading times to be a little bit longer as everyone would have to download the textures and whatnot.

Also since !knife and !ws are on all of the servers I dont see how adding player model skins would effect it much, theres already specific map(s) on CS:GO JB that give players custom playermodels

!ws is not on JB and TTT.

I was under the assumption he meant just many of the CSGO characters.

If he wants custom models I very much say no. A lot of other (bad) JB servers have custom models and it just looks garbage.
