DOJ Warrant Suggestion

Hello friends,
I am suggesting that arrest warrants should expire after two weeks. At their current state, arrest warrants last forever. With that being said criminals would just turn themselves over because at some point they are going to get caught no matter what. If it was limited to two weeks and you found out you had a warrant, you'd have to lay low. Take back roads instead of the main streets. Purchase a new car to try and avoid the police. Cops would need to be actively looking within that two weeks, so It would give them something to do.

I agree with this - I think the biggest objection gonna be like oh they dont expire in irl but like so what. Better & More Roleplay > Realistic Roleplay

anything to get rid of the meta of "if i got a warrant than i may as well just turn myself in", having a chance to "beat" the warrant will give people opportunity to ride it out instead of everyone falling asleep when someone turns theirselves in

100% agree. Having a warrant is no fun for cops or crims IMO. Crims eventually realize they can't run forever so they turn them self in. As for cops its easy when someone turns them self in. And now with CID and what not improving instigations can be involved with warrants to look for these people a little more now.
