all I can say is wow and if I knew her I would say congrats and thank you for protecting our country!


She was in the service for 33 Years!!

Very cool but

I think its a great thing that we finally have our first full general that is female.
"I am very honored but also very humbled today with this announcement," Dunwoody said. "I grew up in a family that didn't know what glass ceilings were. This nomination only reaffirms what I have known to be true about the military throughout my career ? that the doors continue to open for men and women in uniform."
But, i personally think that some of that quote is propaganda.

wow that is great seeing people want to serve our country, what a commitment, 33 years!

yea my mom is up there w/ her, but is only a master seargeant & has been in the air force reserves for round 30 years now.
