What are your Christmas Traditions?

Haven't seen a thread like this so why not. Let's talk about your personal or family traditions, maybe some random people will also start following them and have new things to do this year.

My traditions are simple, we just visit family, make christmas cookies, usually go on vacation to go ski or get out of the cold. However this year has a slight twist, I have a girlfriend now so my personal traditions will be changing quite a bit... super excited!

My traditions have changed quite a bit as I got older and matured. My yearly traditions consisted of having a dinner with my dads side of the family. Usually it would start with me helping set up the tables and preparing the drinks and what not (that side of my family christmas dinner has upwards of 30 people ), opening gifts, cleaning up, dessert, and everyone taling extremely loudly over each other. It's always been on christmas eve so everyone would be free. Then on christmas day I would have the same thing on my moms side of the family but it would consist of the same thing but with 10 times the amount of drama and an absurd amount of alcohol. But that was years ago, now it consists of the same family dinner with my dads side of the family christmas eve and now my tradition as of the past 4 years christmas morning consists of breakfast and coffe with my girlfriends moms side of the family and dinner with her dad in our home. But for the past 2 years we haven't been to excited for christmas but we OVER decorate the entire house to annoy her dad. And absolutely no more alcohol!! :^)
