If its even possible to upgrade parts in a laptop or are you stuck with what you got..... If so, would it be feasible to upgrade or just buy a whole new laptop..... Ohh ya also if you can upgrade what could you upgrade??

its best 2 get a new laptop cause if ur askin us, then its not even worth it. its possible 2 upgrade parts on a laptop, but way 2 much of a hassle. also it depends on what all your gonna do on ur laptop. i would def suggest checkin w/ cyber power to see if they got ne laptops that suit ur fancy esp since were sponsorin them.

For what it's worth, ram on a laptop is about the easiest product to upgrade. In fact, i'm pretty confident in that it's the only reasonably possible item to upgrade. I guess if you're good with laptops in terms of breaking them down and putting them back together you could install a new vid card or the like but i doubt most people are that capable.

This is probably the biggest drawback with laptops. As pillar said it's a lot easier just to buy another laptop because it's so bloody hard to upgrade your own. This is what makes desktop machines so nice for gaming.

What you can upgrade on a laptop completely depends on the make and model of the machine. As Badger said, you can almost always upgrade the memory on a laptop - assuming it isn't already maxed out. Usually you can upgrade the hard drive too. Other than that, most things are either soldered onto the machine or extremely hard to get to. On some machines you can replace the video card, but that can be a hit-or-miss upgrade, and most of the time it's not a cost-effective change.

i personally would just get a new laptop that suits what you need... I have worked with laptops before, and they are just horrid to take apart and get together. Yes memory, and HDD are the easiest to change out so if thats all your wanting to do, then just upgrade... but if your talking CPU, GPU, and other stuff along the lines of that... its just better to buy yourself a decent gaming laptop.

Thanks guys again for some info.... Was looking at uping the ram figure it would be the least difficult to do.... Might just all together get a gaming desktop..... just on the road alot so this laptop is going to take a beating

If you have the funds to buy a new gaming laptop every year-2 years you could definitely do that as it would be easy to game on the road. but that could easily be a 3-4k purchase every 2 years which may or may not fit your budget.
