What's everyones thoughts on rocket jumping

Going to be honest mate, the times i joined eGO TF2 severs i always got humiliated by someone doing rocket jumping, don't know what else to say

A long, long time ago when I first joined eGO under the TF2 division and played competitive, I was fairly good at it. Practiced a little bit of it during the black mesa event tonight that commander hosted !

I primarily utilize rocket-jumping as a tool to assist me in escaping an undesirable situation or just to hasten my movement from point A to point B. Other than that, I have not expanded upon my skills in the practice. The same also applies to sticky-jumping. To answer your question, I only enjoy it so much as a basic ability and not as a mastered aptitude.
