Short description of the bug.
server is rubber banding and freezing like crazy.

Description of the bug.
The server is massively freezing unplayable mess. Half the community has left the server.

What should be happening instead?
Running decent, there is like at least 10 dedicated supporters on the server currently. Lets get some attention please. Second post cause they keep asking me to do something.

Describe how to replicate the bug.

Extra info? I'm sure it will get ironed out, but this sucks. There is plenty of money flowing into the Dust2 server we need a decent product please.
 
The servers have been acting up the since this past weekend. I know css is an old game, but its still being played by lots of people. The server gets filled up every single day around the evening. I am saying this as an admin and a regular player, who has played counter strike source for a long time, The server needs to get looked. The cs division is kinda poor because of csgo being a proirity over css. We need more management and tech support for fixing the servers. I have also been experiencing rubberbanding and weird skipping when moving around the map. Please for the love of god, put some more people in charge of handling sever issues for css. lots of players donate to this community and its kinda sad how css is getting treated. I know EGO can do better. If there is no one to recruit with handling server bugs, why not train a group to handle it when the problem arises in the future? Have a blessed night. Thank you!
 
GardenGroveVW GardenGroveVW any idea? I think you should ask Managers to speak with regulars and admins in CSS server for improvement, maybe a reset per some days would help the issues?
 
I strongly feel that within Dust 2 itself there are more than capable admins with 20-30 years of experience in tech who can properly attend to the server if given the opportunity. They would be perfect for the job as their passion and hours of game play is on Source and they are present to witness the issues. There's nothing more useless than to be asked on a bug report "Describe how to replicate the bug" when the only answer is "Be present". Right now the server's break downs and odd ticks that affect game play are too frequent. Admins and players alike are having to make these reports too often. I hope that whoever can would offer our talented and mature men and women that LS has already shown trust in an opportunity to further contribute to the server they play in.

A fix has been implemented, and we are monitoring the result.

Hello Everyone, I have been in the Tech field for over 25 years. I work for a Bank that has 26 locations as a Technical Analyst. I'm not a Server Tech, but I am the guy the engineers sent out to swap out / move / reboot or tear down servers. So if I can help in any way, please let me know.

I have been playing here for over 11 years and I love this server I don't play on any others. All the Admins and the Regulars that play here make this server an awesome place to be and to play.

There has only been 2 times that I can recall the server being unplayable in 11 years. It can be a little wonky when the server is full. I think some of the players are seeing server delays and then blaming others for cheating. Personally I think my aim is more accurate with less players in the game ( 30 / 30 a side ). I really haven't seen any really bad glitches lately but maybe I wasn't online at that time. Oops I forgot the smoke, They don't always smoke and that causes people to think that players are using ( no smoke )

Thanks for all these years of Entertainment, this server is a great getaway from the ups and downs of life.
