I have a huge list of bands I want to collect every form of media of, sadly the last one I'll ever get is a record that hasnt been pressed since 1996 and is $1,000 opened, used, and has a damaged vinyl sleeve. Unopened with minimal shelf wear goes upwards of $5,000 ):

a lot of 90s rock and hip hop is worth a ton because of the transition to CDs, especially grunge

Yeah for a lot of the vinyls I want to collect I have to save up/set money aside for. It also doesn't help viynl is making a huge comeback now a days

depending on the record, sometimes its more worth it to wait for it to be repressed. That being said obviously there are artists that won't go back into vinyl so the old copies are the only copy
