I have a budget of 1-700ish dollars.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/X9nbtn

Here's my parts so far. My PSU is a High Power HPG-600BR-H14S (this was pre-built).

Just seeing if anyone can scout out a better gpu than this radeon 480 rx that I have?

Thanks

Don't know much about AMD, but the RTX 2060/70 (619$) might be something to take into consideration.

Not that worth tbh ^

BIG UPGRADE ($$$): (Budget maxed out)

You'd be better off with a scalped rtx 3060 for around the same price on ebay.

If you get lucky and end up buying a rtx 3050 somehow it shouldn't cost you much as long as you buy once they go in stock.

MEDIUM UPGRADE ($$): (Around $600)

Or a rx 6600 xt 8gb for a pretty good upgrade.

Or a rx 6600 8gb for a bit cheaper which is still good.

SMALL UPGRADE ($): (Around $300)
Would not recommend if you have a 8gb Card.

If you have a rx 480 4gb this would be a slight upgrade going to a rx 6500 xt 4gb

Amazon rx 6500 xt

Okay b t b t if you want to maximize your performance to price, I would go with a rx 6600 xt (for $600) rather then buying a rtx 3060 scalped off of ebay or buying a overpriced 3060 for new off newegg or ebay. The 6600xt is pretty much on par with the 3060 so you should be good.

Before buying online, you should check your local market for a 3060ti, if you get lucky you could buy one for $650 to $700. Try not to get scammed.

Go here during the weekdays https://www.newegg.com/product-shuffle. It is a lottery to purchase hard to find GPU etc. It is not really that hard to be selected. I have been selected for several and this is how I got my3070 ti. If you win you aren't obligated to purchase but will reserve the item in your cart you are selected for during an allotted amount of time (usually have a 2 hour window to purchase). You can subscribe to email alerts to notify you when a shuffle is going live or if you wanna check mon - friday @ 8am pacific time, that is when they start. Good luck on your search.

That's a bad ass build, I would recommend ( specifically because that board supports it) a dedicated nvme ssd for a boot drive. I have on that i keep totally clean except for OS. This one

I swear it had to be the best performance boost per dollar with my build.

As far as the GPU goes all i can recommend is STALK Facebook marketplace and Best buy/ Newegg for restock drops. I have seen some luck getting a 30 series card FOR MSRP, but it will requires some effort and time.

Good luck on the gpu!
