What application are you reporting this issue on?
CSS

What server is this happening on?
Dust 2 IP: 104.128.58.206:27015

Short description of the bug.
Players are levitating and disappearing and reappearing based on proximity.

Description of the bug.
Look at demos.

What should be happening instead?
Players should be on the ground and not disappear as you approach them or re-appearing as you move backwards.

Describe how to replicate the bug.
I'm not sure.

Extra info? These are the demos that show what is happening:

This is super weird, is anyone else having this issue?
Players made comments about levitating players but this time what caught my attention was someone said a player on the team I was on was clearly hacking. I don't think anyone is cheating. I think this is some sort of glitch. I popped in on other css servers and didn't experience this. I came back and recorded what is demoed.

When this happens again, please record another video with net graph enabled.

To enable net graph, run this in your console net_graph 4 after you can disable it with net_graph 0

I remember this from back in the day. This usually occurred when the server(or a player) had a lag spike and each players position was unique to the person(s) experiencing the lag and that's what caused everyone to cry out that someone was hacking, etc. So what Immaculate may see, someone else may see something different. Usually rejoining the server would fix this issue if it persisted.

I am not sure if this is the same thing, but I'd thought I'd share that.

Is anyone else having this issue Immaculate Immaculate it seems you are the only one reporting it so far, could this be what Ric is saying?

Covert looked into it and hasn't really found anything out side of the norm for the server.

@Artimus - said that you told him it happens every day at 5pm CST - is there something running on your computer at that time?

GardenGroveVW GardenGroveVW I don't think I'm the only one because it was actually the complaints of other clients that brought it to my attention. They were accusing clients of hacking. After observing I tried to exclude myself by signing off and then returning, later I went to different CSS servers but didn't see it there. I also uninstalled and reinstalled steam only to return and hear the clients continue to complain. I'll use Covert Covert recommendations and let you know the result.

For clarification, it was actually another admin @Cript who mentioned registry issues happening daily. My comment was I have made bug reports and spoken to people about but I was referring to the issues I posted about on this thread.

But I'll let you know results.

Complaints about registry issues are challenging to address unless footage is provided in conjunction. We would be on an endless chase for a non-existent issue when it could all be the player's client or just operator error (bad aim).

I did what Covert Covert suggested and players are still levitating. Covert is actually on the server with me.

Can you send me your game launch params and autoexec.cfg if you have any? I am unable to replicate this myself.

Can you tag Cript in this thread?

And anyone else that is on the forums.

Can you also run a winmtr while this is happening?

After connecting, how many rounds until the issue starts for you?

Covert Covert it's random. It doesn't occur everyday. I submitted a bug report when I did notice it. I never counted rounds, but will.

Marking this as not planned due to age, issue does not seem to persist as of today.
