In jailbreak it is only possible to begin a POV demo for the first 15 seconds after a map change. It would be nice if it was possible any time in the round.
I know this is very niche, but me and my friend are working on a high effort jailbreak video that this would be very useful for and I cannot see a reason for this not to be included.

also here is a render of vip armory he made

I'm a little confused by what you mean by I think you are referring to being able to record demos possibly with bot GOTV or recording your owns demos (even though the Counter Strike demo playbacks are literally the worse to ever exist on the face of the earth). I am kind of going to side-track off your original suggestion but this does solve your original issue. It can be very very useful to a server to have a bot GOTV. To be able to record demos and get the full picture of what any given situation may look like whether it is a ban contest, ban report, or just maybe to try to find how a bug was caused in game, or even for your case to be able to make some pretty cool stuff with it. A lot of players don't use a shadowplay or if they do they don't give a well enough video of what happened in-game and they really only see their perspective, and a GOTV bot able to get that full picture of what went down. It was brought up in the CS meeting today to have something like this implemented but was kind of turned down. The server does still run relatively smoothly without it and if it is considered it seems like a backburner type of project.

But overall +1.

Really nice render by the way it looks amazing.

I am only talking about POV demos, which are completely local. It used to be possible to record them any time during a round, but is now limited to warm-up and freezetime. Since jailbreak doesn't have freezetime there is only ~15 seconds to start a demo during the warmup out of a 35+ minute map cycle.
GOTV demos have their own seperate pros/cons and deserves its own thread.

+1

Not everyone uses shadowplay and this can be highly beneficial to those players as well.
