It was not only himself. And he "borrowed" things from others. He was much more successful at monopolistic and unethical business practices.

I know it was not only himself, but without his vision those others would be nothing.You can say he borrowed things all you want, the fact is that he changed the world.

And to blackout, i think he is still the chairman, just not in everyday tasks. It's been reported that he will still contribute to big projects.

You know, the sad truth is he did 'borrow' some things but he eventually improved on those 'borrowed' things and made them a superior product. If they were a straight plagiarism, would they have made any money? Would they even have been published? About maybe the only thing they 'borrowed' I'd say didn't do much different from it's progenitor was MS-DOS. I see little difference between MS-DOS and the original IBM DOS.
