Is Lego Star Wars the Skywalker Saga worth it and fun?

As the title says, I've been wondering if I should spend $50 on the game or not. Is it like the other Lego games or not?

I haven't played it myself, but a few friends have said it is well worth the money and they're really enjoying it

As someone who played the hell out of the original Lego Star Wars games (and Harry Potter ones... and Batman), it's certainly VERY good so far. I've completed story mode for Episode 1,2,4,5 so far. The world is MASSIVE, the amount of unlockables is crazy. There is so much replayability to it.

It still retains the fun quirkiness and laughs of other lego games. But the gameplay overall is VERY good so far for me. Definitely recommend it if you enjoy Lego games and/or Star Wars.
