Delivered DS Perk - Option to have a Forum Name Color

I tried to see if there was an existing suggestion for this, so forgive me if this is a duplicate. ^^

This suggestion is for dedicated supporters.

I think it would be a cool perk if on the forums we could have a selection of colors to make our names. Green is cool and all, but having a selection of colors would give the forums a little more personality IMO! Lmk what ya think.

Agreed. Maybe have Silver DS be able to choose between Blue or Green, and higher tiers be able to pick more and more colors.

Somewhat agree.

I think it would be a cool feature to have maybe 4-5 basic colors for $5, +4-5 colors for $10, etc.
When you reach the highest DS amount, you can have the option to make your name RGB?

Could also draw inspiration (I personally think it's ugly - but some may enjoy it) from GFL:

note: the VIP and Supporter roles are... snowing? sparkling? who knows

I understand what you mean where it can be visually unappealing. An alternative to the colors is the name effects like they have. In HG we had something similar, where VIP and Gold accounts had blue and gold sparkle effects, respectively.

I think it could be a decent addition, but I also know eGO to keep it as simple and clean as possible. So I doubt it will happen based solely on that knowledge.

If anything is to be added though, it's important (in my opinion) that we keep everything optional.

I like this idea, more range of colors depending on what tier you are. I think this would need to be advertised before hand though.

We should definitely look into allowing DS to customize their forum name with colors or effects. Not only does it give members profiles more personality and life to the forums but can also be another good incentive for someone who is considering on becoming a DS or impel current DS to maintain their subscription.

I really like this is. It's a good in between for people who argue that having too many colors can be visually unappealing.
