In Pilot/Beta TTT Starting Pistol

This actually isn't a horrible idea. I don't know the technical side of it or if there's a reason not to, but I think this would be beneficial for those who can't get access to a gun, or want to start out with a specific one.

as long as we are talking p250, glock, five seven, tec 9 maybe even a revolver (not USPS obvious reasons) that would be cool to see. +1

Why not the USPS?
It's a "T only" weapon, would kinda defeat the purpose of having it in the t shop if everyone could just use it as a starting weapon.
some maps have 1-2 USPS spawns tho, if you want it as an inno :)

I wouldn't see the problem since what will a Inno do with a USP-S? if they killed a Traitor they would call it out to be safe, and you can still hear the supressor since most maps are relatively small

It could be a good QOL feature, although there are usually enough weapons on the ground that finding a pistol you want fast generally isn't an issue. I'd personally be all for it between a selection of P2000, Dual Berettas, P250, Five-Seven, Tec-9 -- in my opinion leaving higher powered guns like the Deagle or Revolver to be found on the map would be a better choice if this were to be implemented.

USP-S should definitely not be part of the starting weapon list though. Silenced weapons are part of the T arsenal and are not meant for innocents. I love silenced weapons, anyone who has played with me would know that, I'm still against letting innos start off with them though for many of the reasons already outlined above.

Any silenced weapon should only ever be obtainable by a T buying it or the map including a small number of them as a secret.

You severely underestimate how useful the lack of a tracer line is in TTT, especially at range. Most of the TTT maps are not "small", they are quite large for the number of people we generally have on the server playing. Even if size wasn't considered, just having 5 people around you in a small circle all using silenced weapons would be hell, if I could count the number of times I've bought a USP-S and joined a crowd, shot someone, then left to see people in confusion and/or RDMing.

Could also be a cool DS Perk, being able to select your starting pistol. I think even including the deagle and revolver would be okay.

I agree with not being able to pick the USP-S

I could see some concerns as to locking this behind a DS paywall, it's not a large difference but it is one

Allow everyone to be able to select a spawning pistol for every single round
I see this causing a big kill gap from the good traitors to the bad ones. Deagles should not be easily accessible as they are so easy to kill people with and just finding a deagle is usually super easy. I think if you want a better pistol bc they are pretty useful at times, you should have to find them on the ground. If anything maybe make it an RTD thing where you can maybe spawn in with a deagle p250 5 seven cz etc. @MSWS
