Hey guys i was just in a game and a eGO memeber just left with admin. He was the only admin And then all of a sudden u see ppl cussin and disrepectin all E's in the server. All i'm sayin somebody haas to do somtin about this we tried getti ncontrol of the server and there still was a ffew ppl cussin it up and mic spammin and just spammin the keyboard.

If in the future this happens again, contact an admin through SteamFriends and have them take care of it. Everybody should have at least a few admins on their friends list for such an occasion. If they don't respond, get on Vent and see if any other admins can help, or try using the Shoutbox to the right on the webpage to get somebody to deal with it. If none of these work, then get their username and steamid and post a ban request here on the forums.

If you're a regular on our servers, you should definitely have some admins on your Steam friends list. Also, you could always mention that a specific server needs an admin via the shoutBox. Feel free to add me to your Steam friends if you play TF2.

I call this in my own term the "Police Officer Effect" because just like on the road when you see a police car you become a perfect driver most of the time.

Just like that when there is an admin perfect players most of the time, but a few times there will be those who will take the chance to act out when no admin is in sight.

In most situations I play until another admin joins the game because I never like to leave the server without one.

Everyone has already listed the ways to best contact an admin in those situations.

yea like JohnT said, ventrilo is the bomb. Im usually always on. especially weekends. weekdays im on in the evenings US time

edit: like buck private said... the "Police Officer Effect" is very prominent in our servers for sure. Id also like to add, much like police.. they're there when you dont want em to be, and never around when you need one LOL

Alright thx but i've been tryin to get admin cause ive always on and there are some ppl who still think there more supreour and stuff cause im young (my voice) I'm only 14. Suggestion i think we should have undercover admins that would be awsome

it woud be nice if we =(e)= s have the ability to silence Players ( like if someone is using foul language if they are no admins online to silence the Player so that he cannot use the voice chat and team/primary chat) because there is always somone to make the game not fun.

Council has explicitly told us there will be no undercover admins. Personally I see it as a bad idea because the offender has to be quietly phased out of the game, meaning no example is made and other players don't see that what the offender did is wrong.

(Small tip, saying you are trying to get admin is not the most productive way to get there. Just have fun, and see what comes to you.)

Just to help out here i would Say one the admins should put a list up of somes admins that are on alot during all hours that have free spots on thier friends list.

Here is what i think you should do if someone breaks the rules or is generally just disrupting gameplay while an admin isnt on.

1. Contact an admin
----- 1. Via steamfriends- any EG or EGO member in your friend list will do.
------2. the website shout box( see right side of website for details
------3 Via any other messanger service.
------4. Ventrillo( see this LINK
------5. IRC( see thisLINK for details
2. If you cannot get a get a hold of an admin at the time use this method
-----1. Type ` in the chat window
-----2. In that box(console) type STATUS
-----3. That will List everyones steamids that is on the server at that time.
-----4. Find the offenders steamid
------5. Post a topic in the request a Ban Section with the players ingame name, steamid, what server it was in and the offense(DETAILS
