Kendrick Lamar's New Album

Maybe the most anticipated album of 2022, Kendrick dropped Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers roughly two days ago and is already planning his world tour. I want to know y'all's opinions.

Personally, I think Kendrick is in the top three for greatest artists of our generation and top ten for greatest artists of all time. I think that Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers up to this point deserved the hype, deserved the anticipation, deserved every ounce of acclaim that it received. In my unbiased opinion it is an album with absolutely no skips, each song on it is something that deserves a listen.

Something that Kendrick Lamar does differently from other artists is tell a story. All the greats do it. He says something that pulls you in, he talks about something real, something important. I will never forget this album, I don't think the world is gonna forget this album.

after listening to it a couple of times I can say that I really enjoyed it. it's a bit different from his previous albums but very alike at the same time. a good 8/10 might grow on me

i feel like every time artists release something that is “similar but different” from their style it’s because they constantly switchin up, people said it about michael jackson and say it about tyler the creator all the time fr cuz their voice is iconic, their sound is unique, they have motifs that you can recognize throughout different artworks regardless of the genre they’re working in.
