Not Planned Stricter rules about racism

So you guys have probably heard about people on jb or ttt discriminating against people for their accents or nationality, such as me being British, or others sharing the same experiences of racial prejudice. Race is defined as a categorization of humans based on shared physical or social qualities into groups generally viewed as distinct within a given society, or a group of people sharing the same culture, history, language, etc; an ethnic group. Under these definitions, it can be clearly concluded that discrimination based on accents or what country you come from, for example having a British accent, or people being rude to you because you come from a different country, is truly racist, although little action is actually taken against these people, apart from if they drop the n word, in which its an instant ban :/
I am requesting for admins to take more action as it really makes the community seem a more toxic and uninviting place, in which I am very sure you guys do not want, as this puts off many new players, especially how most of the counter-strike: global offensive community is based in EU (albeit, most are Russians and would not play on an American based server anyway). I feel if the punishments were stricter for racism and toxicity based on ethnic grouping then we would have a better community overall, and be a more welcome place for all nationalities, thank you.

i think making fun of accents is fine to an extent aslong as you’re not targeting one person for it and keep harassing them for it you should be fine. i only say this because i want to make fun of Blame David Blame David and his crooked teeth :))

As a brit myself, the things that people say are said just to tease us. They are not meant to be taken literally as an offense, same way Europeans say the same things about the NA people and so forth. Its back and forth "teasing" but can be looked at differently depending on the person its said to, different people will have different responses. However, if you truly are offended by some comments or jokes said about you or the place you come from you can always report it in admin chat and it can be dealt with. At the end of the day it is a gaming server and things will be said to tease and just have a little banter but that does not excuse people making actual insults towards players and discriminating against them because of where they come from whether its against someone from the UK, NA or anywhere else in the world some things are too far and should be dealt with. However, those things that go "too far" can sometimes be missed due to the player not reporting them taking offense to that comment that was said.

As a dane (even thought my accent isn't super strong), I agree with this.
 
Based on the situation and intention it can be racist to mock an accent as well, however yes sometimes people are teasing and are unaware of the effect it may have on others. If you ever feel like you are being disrespected/harassed please notify admins in game- or create a report a player/reach out to a member of leadership.

EGO has a heavy emphasis on making sure this is a place anyone can enjoy, regardless of where you are from.

you still haven't? writing about my great achievements would be quite difficult no way you fit them all in 3 pages no wonder they didn't give you admin for only 3 pages on THE Mr. Sir. Dr. Sire. Blame David the 1st.
 
ive got some clips of snot telling me to kill myself for being british but apparently action was already taken so whatever
 
or rather had because ive set clips to auto delete after 31 days

If you're not happy the way the admins handled the situation you can always make a report a player. Just remember to use the right clips and when you do it, mention that you don't like the way the situation was taken cared of.
I have done this a couple of times when I actually get very sad from comments like this and I suggest you do it too.
