nvidia 8700 vs. 8800

so, i'm gettin a laptop, and i was wondering which you think i should get. i know that laptops are notorious for only being able to have one graphics card that is never interchangeable, so you see why i'm asking this. So should I splurge and go for the 8800 or is it even worth it, oh and btw I can't get an ATI, otherwise this wouldn't be an issue ty

laptops are nice and all but if your gunna do gaming on it your looking at spending 3 grand min got a good gaming rig thats why i say desktops FTW but its up to you

thanks rogue. and the reason i'm getting a laptop is because i'm getting for college, and unless i win that sweet rig up for the raffle, i'm gettin a laptop, and it can't be too beastly aka expensive, cause i only have so much money.

Whats your budget price. you could buy a cheap laptop for school work and a decent gaming desktop for cheap. But if you dont then just get the 8800 because if your gonna game on it you might as well get the best you can afford. Where are you getting the laptop from also. You should check out cyberpower they have some nice laptops.

p.s. when you have a decent gaming laptop the batterlife is a lot shorter so keep that in mind also.
