EdgeGamers Overwatch Scrim Team
I am very excited to announce that the EdgeGamers Overwatch is starting its very own scrim team. What is a scrim team? In short term, it is a competitive team that practices against another competitive team in a private environment. The goal of this team is not only to have fun but also to improve yourself and the others around you. I (
EDisch222
) will be acting as the coach/player-coach and will be responsible for running the team. While my competitive play in Overwatch has been limited I did participate in two years of Collegiate Overwatch (High Diamond - Low Masters Average) and I am sure people will join the coaching side as time progresses.
There are no long-term goals or SR requirements to join this team, but please keep in mind that Overwatch is 6v6, and depending on the number of people who want to participate may limit your time playing on the team.
How to join
If you are interested in participating click "Sign-up here" below. The only requirement for joining is that you must have your e-tag! If you don't have your e-tag click here. You will have to fill in information such as your current SR, Discord, and Forum ID.
Sign-up here
We are gonna be planning on playing once or twice a week depending on how many people are available. You do not have to show up to every scrim, but please make the team aware before the scheduled time. More information on who is on the team and when we will be starting will be announced soon on the discord. Happy Overwatching everyone!
