Alright guys after 3 long days of computer problems and building its done and damn im happy it is! Blows my old computer out of the water!!!!!!!!!!! I will just post pic the specs are in another thread title New rig by me. And now the lets see the hard earned work i put into to this badboy.

nice! Have you tested the new pc in 3dmark?
Test at stock, then with overclocking.
Again, if you want any overclocking help pm me.
 
how is that usb cooler for drinks how well dose it work keep stiff cool or can it take a warm drink and make it cold and nice rig
 
Blackstar if i may suggest object dock and tweak ui for that extra clean shave.
 
lol well jesture its nice if you want to keep drink cool...take awhile if the drink is hot. i like it when i have it plugged in for the long nights of game and to lazy to get a new drink just reach over and there is a fresh cold drink :D..and badger ty again
 
haha always wanted to toy around with those acrylic cases. Too much for me though. Man i hope you enjoy it, that looks like a beast of a machine.

Did you get a second hdd or have them change to a sata drive mid order?

Nice! Your build is nearly identical to mine except for video card and overclocking. I'm surprised that your 8600 performed almost as well as mine without overclocking.

I'm using the raidmax smilodon extreme. To become practical, I had to rip off the door on the front, move the HDD activity light to a hole I drilled and hotglued, and move all the blinky lights to the inside where they actually illuminate the whole motherboard, and the back of the drive bays.
 
Nice comp man!!

When I modded my case I had to add 4 more fans to the case. My Gladiator case had only two 120mm fan ports and I needed more circulation around my GFX cards.

So I took a whole week and 100 dollars to completely rebuild the case from top to bottom.
I cut about 5 holes out of the back of the case where the motherboard was to access the CPU heat sink and North Bridge heat sink screws. The other 3 holes were for routing wires.

I also added 2 120mm fans to the top. I had to cut 2 huge holes through the steel top of the case and drill the holes for the screws and for the wires.

I then cut out two more holes in the bottom of the case for 2 80mm fans.

I removed the HDD cage to make better circulation and repainted the entire case black and then added a enamel coating for protection.

I then had the right side panel painted by an artist who depicted the words "Blue Flood" in a flood.

Lotsa hard work, but well, I know I could have done better. An artist is his worst critic. :)

Note to the wise...never, ever, spray paint in Houston in summer!!
