DoD Spray Help

I am making, should say attempting to make, a DoD spray. I am wanting it to look like a WW2 era poster but I can't really think of any good text to put on them. I have three possible images but that is as good as I am getting right now.

Also do any of the Photoshop adept eGO know how to make them look aged? If so is it a process that cen be easily explained or am I better of not trying?

Only thing about the first is it may look to modern and look out of place and that is what I am trying to avoid. Most sprays just look strange and break the atmopshere for me. I want one that wil blend into the surroundings better. Also I found a little trick on PS that can help with them being all different sizes. Just did some more work, here is the best I could come up with. They aren't very good. I'm no graphic artist. Anybody have any ideas

Think I am going touse the second it is looking pretty sexy.
