[General Game Suggestion] (I think admins hate me so pls enjoy my suggestion atleast!)
New Server/Gamemode:10 mans (5v5) for Valorant and Csgo
What is a 10 man?: The most simple way for me to explain a 10 man is like your normal comp game you would play on cs however this would be made with the EGO playerbase.
How do 10 mans work?:10 mans work by getting 10 people and then having 2 people randomlly selected as Team Captains.
Team Captains will then choose 4 other teamates each and then ban maps until they have 5 people on each team and a map selected.
These games will go for the regular 30 rounds unless the score ends in 15-15. If the score ends in 15-15 it will go into overtime until a winner is decided.
How would 10 mans be setup?: 10 mans would be setup in 2 ways. The first way would be a server this would be used for csgo due to csgo having community servers.
Personally I do not know how to make plugins but I bet some of your amazing staff team knows how to make plugins that will make this server run perfectly.
The second way that a 10 man can be done is with a custom game. This would specficially be used for the game valorant. I was thinking that 10 mans would be able to help spread the EGO community to valorant.
How would you get the players for a 10 man?: For 10 mans what I would personally recommend doing is creating a reaciton role in the discord server where you will react to be given the role @CSGO 10 Man or @Valorant 10 man.
Then there would be a channel in the discord server titled #10-man-games. In this channel you would be able to ping the roles @CSGO 10 man or @Valorant 10 man. If people want they can join a voice chat called 10-man-scrims.
This voice chat would be where all the planning goes on. From this voice chat there would then be two channel for Team 1 and Team 2. Where the captains will join the vc and when they choose a player they will also join the vc. These channels will be where the teams will communicate during the scrim.
Last notes: For games such as valorant certain players can apply for a role such as Valorant 10 man host where they will be able to host the 10 man while other people will play.
If this suggestion turns into a real thing I would 100% be down to become one of these Valorant 10 man hosts.
Obviously in this server all current EGO rules will be enforced aswell as server specfici rules to keep it a nice place for all people to have fun and chill or play competively for fun.
Personal Ideas: One idea I had was for a event where you can have people create 5 man teams and have a bracket and have a prize for the winning team.
