Thoughts on a Project Zomboid server?

I never got into zomboid, but it definitely looks fun. I play 7 days to die from time to time and thought about a server for that as well, I think either would be cool, the question is how well could we populate either one of them?

I've played a bit of both and IMO Zomboid is better suited for multiplayer. Though I do have bias.

Project Zomboid is one ambitious game. I've been playing it for a while now and I gotta say, it's one of my favorites. It's great to hear that the developers are in a good place financially and that the Steam community has been responding well to it.
If you're thinking about hosting your own Project Zomboid server, I highly recommend you visit site with servers. They've got some pretty sweet deals and reliable servers that won't let you down. Plus, they've got a variety of options to choose from, so you can customize your server to fit your needs. Alternatively, if you're not quite ready to host your own server yet, you could always join an existing one.
