Hello,

I'm just wondering if it's possible to mirror the movement/air speed settings in ghost on JB to that of when you're alive. I bring this up because I can't hit a 240 to save my life when I'm alive, but can hit it pretty easily in ghost. Doesn't really satisfy what I think ghost's intended use is supposed to be, which is realistic practice at jumps/games while you are dead. Pretty sure movement players know the importance of muscle memory, and the current settings hinder the ability to properly practice and train it with ghost. If this is achievable, I think it would be very beneficial to the server and it's dedicated supporters, and am suggesting it for those reasons. As always, open to other thoughts/ideas on suggestion and thanks for your time.

To my knowledge, we do not modify or enhance ghost's movement. My guess is this is most likely a placebo.

I gotcha, ik JB plugins are kinda rough to work with based on what I've heard about them, so would totally understand if no1 wants to mess with it. It's still nice the way it is currently, but just don't really find myself using it to actually practice stuff since it kind of gives you a handicap. So I'm guessing that's kind of along the lines of what you're saying that it's not truly meant for that

He's saying the movement is the exact same, and any difference you're noticing is fully in your head.

I for one haven't noticed any difference and can find myself hitting the exact same jumps

I don't think so honestly, I forget who exactly but someone said you gain a bit more speed from strafing in ghost and it feels that way to me as well. Idk what the actual settings are but I don't think it's exact, plus you've always had good movement from what I remember lol

this thread in a nutshell.

I haven't noticed any real difference between ghost and regular. Though if you're more inclined to see the code, you could take a look at this plugin. I can't guarantee it's the same plugin on the server or that the code between the two is one to one, but it's good toilet reading.

Edit: and this too.

Haha you're pretty funny, but on a serious note my movement in ghost feels wayyyyy off from when I'm alive. It's kind of 1 of those things I guess where you really wouldn't notice it unless playing. So this kind of makes me think it's not really an issue with the server settings, but maybe the game settings on my end. Something I'll definitely look into

The air acceleration should be the same as if you were alive.

Please make a bug report if you notice a clear difference. Video proof would be greatly valuable!
