So basically one of our GOAT maps admittedly has a few flaws that I think some can be fixed for the better. Some are bugs some are more suggestions but I just wanted to make it one big thread. Hope thats okay <3 - PS some of the things i mention has to do with the map when it was updated here.

Most important issue -1) So sadly one of my personal favorite and it seems a good amount of the server on most of the time can agree, standing long jump. Absolutely goat game whoever thought of it idk why I love it so much. But Sadly the biggest and worst flaw to this game, one person always gets fucked over. They cannot move even side to side. Some people have argued before saying "well that's the point, you're supposed to STAND and long jump." Which is fair but why does everyone else get to move side to side to build up speed and just that one person takes an L unless they hit some bhops. So either everyone should be able to move past x line or x point or whatever or no one. Dont **** the one person it ruins things :c

-2) The Nade picture thing in cells, it used to be very easy to break and ill admit it was a little OP with both the buttons working. But recently I noticed neither of the buttons work, less nades/decoys spawn in general now and I believe the 300 HP it was raised to (from 175) is too much. Here's a video to show what I'm talking about.

-3) This one is a 2 part one but it both has the same issue. 2 different games on this map have spots in the game that you cannot take damage from and its broken and can ruin new players experiences that find such spots. Especially because one (Celestial) the spot isnt so obviously cheating. But the other one, which I can't remember the name for the life of me and is to the right if you just went up the stairs away from the tower of hell. Behind where everything spawns from you cannot take damage so basically if you make it there on either game its a win no matter what.

-4) When multiple CTs stand on the 50/50 platform even though one is already in it, when the CT lose said 50/50 it kills most people standing on the platform. Obviously for the time being admins should take this as server disruption and w/k/b but still an issue that should be fixed regardless incase many make it there at the same time and the one that makes it in the room hits the button quickly

-5) If you ask me, scout secret needs to be nerfed. Either somehow make it so if youre in the scout 1-way you DEFINITELY have 1hp or its just not over powered in general. Ive never seen a rebelling T get killed up there for example. They either stand in the door way and dont have to move with 100 hp and never get shot, or are in the box moving around and never get shot. idk I think im not alone on this issue.

-6) After the update of lasers being more difficult, the bottom laser doesnt stop after the game is stopped. im 99% sure it doesnt do damage but it keeps going. Mainly visual i know but still.

let me know what you all think and your opinions <3

I was the one that implemented these changes. Looking at the changes, the breakable's health was increased from 1 -> 80. I also tested it personally and confirmed it is possible to get within one nade.

As for the rest of this thread, I would imagine most of these issues would be fixed by v2 of the map. You could reach out specifically to @mouse pouch or CS LE on if/when the new map version will be released.
or I can just post a thread that way it has more of an incentive and its documented ;D

I suppose I should've been more explicit and explained my reasoning and personal opinion on this matter.

Jailbreak is inherently competitive, from the guards trying to get the most kills, prisoners trying to rebel as quickly as possible, or even trying to complete the games before their fellow teammates. In this way, jailbreak is all about skill. If you are brand new to CS:GO, you won't be able to do most of the games. While this certainly will be frustrating, part of the appeal of Jailbreak is gaining experience and skill. The longer you play, the better you become, and the longer you can last through the games.

As such, the introduction and encouragement of new "tech" (or techniques) is not something that should be shunned. If we said "the average player can't reasonably do this", then more often than not we wouldn't have fun game/modes (think surf, kz, bhop, etc). Similar to alien's ladder kz game, having a nade throw minigame that, if you spent a reasonable amount of time you could do, in my opinion encourages and rewards persistence and practice.

In essence this message is "get good". A cell teleport is a rather strong rebelling option. It gives you very quick access to a scout right out of cells. The barrier of entry as such should be appropriately heightened. The previous game that was a simple nade throw was insufficient in my opinion, as it allowed for the large majority of the playerbase to succeed. Increasing the difficulty to more appropriately fit the reward (should) encourage the playerbase to learn how nades work in CS:GO.

Think of this similar to Quake's hard jump. I'm very well aware that a large portion of the playerbase is unable to do this ("let alone in one try"). But having difficult techs, jumps, shots, etc. is not only part of Jailbreak, it's part of CS:GO.
