Mental health is important, I’ve been so down lately it feels like I’m just isolated. My drinking habits have turned into a serious and problematic addiction, this week I indulged a deadly amount of alcohol and was suffering from alcohol poisoning I passed out and I thankfully woke up almost 26 hours later. It really scared me when I woke up and realized what had happened. I’ve been turning to the bottle for all the problems I’m going through and I’m here to say please reach out if you feel as I do, don’t turn to drugs or alcohol for your problems I was lucky I didn’t die I truly am so disappointed in my actions. I’m here to tell all of you YOU ARE IMPORTANT! I love everyone in this beautiful community and please please please if you are suffering or feel lost or anything that’s effecting your mental or physical health reach out to family, friends, or a professional.

I love you all truly, my actions were unacceptable and I’ll work on my drinking habits I promise you all

I'm pretty new to this community and I keep to myself most of the time, but I just had to comment on your post. It definitely sounds like you hit rock bottom this week but remember, the only way to go from here is up. Instead of being disappointed in yourself, try being proud of yourself for realizing you have a problem and for reaching out for help. That is not an easy thing to do, but acceptance is the first step in getting better. You got this Yankee!

Hey man, really good message you send out here! But please don't forget about yourself as well! It will only go up from here :). If you ever need to talk feel free to message me on discord! Moto Moto#8396

Yankee Yankee Stay strong my man, I've been there myself and it is not a fun place to be, but there's always help, please make sure you get that help. If you want to talk my dm are always open on discord.

i don't wanna give you the same advice everyone gives, but all im gonna say is, you got this.

Yankee Yankee I see you, i hear you and I feel you.

I suggest trying to fill that void (or release that pressure) with something positive.

I've been using exercise and it's been helping me keep sane. I actually lost around 10-15 lbs over Covid and reduced my stress exponentially, as well as gaining strength AND sleeping better. Basically I work out lower body on even days and upper body on odd days which allows for rest. I use some weights but mostly just body weight doing push ups, squats, calf extensions, Triceps Dips, et al

If not your thing then try something different (Walking, Hiking, Biking, etc). A change of scenery/routine is obviously needed. And if you're still feeling down, PM some of us gamers in the this thread and try to have a group session on Discord.

Good luck! We (and many others) are pulling for you.
