Bored...

TF2 is getting boring for me. I played 5 hours this morning and I just realized I was bored that whole time. <-- That sounds weird I know lol.

I've tryed different classes... Soldier used to be my fav class, now it's getting boring. I'm not bad just not really good.

I'm trying to find ways to make TF2 a lot more fun. Share your suggestions here. If we had a CAL TF2 team I would try out in an instant.

No taunt = no kill. Hey, get a group of you friends that you usually play and everytime you kill one of them Taunt. It is really fun. It also helps to be in vent during the game so that you can verbally taunt them as well.

I got bored for a bit, so I decided to get better at the class they at I sucked at the most: Demo. I have to say, playing a Demo in ctf_turbine is probably the most fun thing to do next to sniping in convoy ( ). Yeah so that, or play other games in addition to TF2. Currently I've been playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl competitively, and on the side some Guitar Hero III, GTA: San Andreas for PC, and CoD:4. My best advice though is mix it up!

Have you ever tried the jetpack mode? That's very funny... you can fly all over the map, and even have melee fight in the air

Ugh, surfing maps. No way...

In TF2, they serve absolutely no purpose at all...only because:

1. You respawn

2. Engineers in certain locations can make it unbearable

3. Snipers in wide open maps are just crazy.

Sure, the third one are in CS:S surf maps, but in many servers/maps, you have to make your way to a certain point to use or get weapons. Since TF2 only has weapons in which only certain classes can use, it's pointless.

I'd suggest trying out other maps that you wouldn't normally play, or even another class melee only.

+10 I was getting bored and this really helps to add fun. If you taunt someone you know, even if you die, you have the pleasure of knowing that they will be looking for you to pay you back . Shoot for a dominating taunt, those are epic.

im getting quite bored but as people have said before try new maps, i went on to turbine yesterday for the first time and it was amazing cos i didn't know where to go, etc so it turned me from great with demoman to sucky with demoman so im gonna keep playing different maps (I'm gettin too good at 2fort) LOLz

I always find switching classes freshens it up. I usually have a "class of the week" where all I wanna do is improve a class I suck with. For example I have over 100 hours of tf play time, but only two hours with spy and only 5 with solider. So lately I've been trying to learn to use those effectivley. I know by the time I get my fill I'll be itchin to play heavy again. Also, as was mentioned, try different maps. There are alot of eGO players who usually stick to only one or two servers so playin all of 'em usually leads to meeting new people, which keeps it fun as well. If all else fails (this was mentioned also) play a something else for awhile. No mater what you play, eventually you will think to yourself "This game sucks compared to TF2!"

um.....i play with a bottle of rum in my other hand sometimes.

you could try getting better with your lowest scoring class (like me, i suck at scout and spy) if you play with a soldier 24/7.....well i'd probably wouldn't play the game very long either.
