Does ping really matter to the game? (with 300 and singaporian)

It matters to some extent, with high ping your hit registration and even movements would be off by a bit. Enough that your shots won't hit, or you die despite having already moved away. The people with 100-150 ping already have an irritating time, 300 would be quite annoying probably.

oh boy, 300? seems super unplayable, I'll be honest 200 ping is an absolute bummer, I play with it everyday on JB and let me tell ya, it isn't a fun experience. I think what ping does to a person on JB is the hit registration which is one of the MAIN factors of having a high ping 150+, and another factor is the thing that blank_dvth has stated which is I quote "or you die despite having moved away", which is another factor, and ghost knifes is another worst part about it. I feel like sometimes I could hit my shots, and sometimes i know some shots should HIT, but it doesn't register any hits because of the presumed 0.2ms delay, so it truly does matter ALOT in terms of rebelling, ping matters a bunch, idc if someone says otherwise, even if you've played with high ping, you know the struggles of TRYING to hit a shot but it doesn't register at all, which is a annoying feeling.

well high ping comes with pros and cons i have 150 ping but i have learned to avoid death with high ping either you get shot at and then you kill the person the same time he shot you or you just run away and killhim once yo see him next time, if you ofcourse know it was him that shot you
