=(e)= tag application why it 30 days

im not sure if this is the right place to post this (im very new to forums) but i have a quick question. So i applied for an e tag nov 19, however since i applied while i was still banned for another day or two, it was rejected (i didnt know that was a valid reason to reject at the time). however if i want to reapply i must wait until dec 19 to do so. Why is that the case if the reason im denied is something that will end in 2 days? just wondering if i can apply sooner becuz i really want to sign up for the epic 5v5 tournament in january ;-;

Generally it's to make sure people who were banned for relatively serious reasons do not re-offend and are a good fit for the community. Insurance. Lots of people hop from ban to ban. We'd look pretty bad if you came off a ban for something like racism, were given a nice second chance, got an e-tag the next day, and spammed the n-word the day after. 30 days helps make sure you're going to represent our community well.

Also pretty hard to be an active member when you are currently banned.

Since you said you have to wait until the 19th, as long as you don't blow it in the next week, you'll be able to apply and sign up for the 5v5 still, pending acceptance.
